I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. In my opinion, teaching is one of the most rewarding and amazing professions there is. There is never a dull moment and I feel excited when I go to work because I never know what will happen that day. Every child deserves to have a teacher that is dedicated and passionate about their students. Children deserve a teacher that motivates and pushes them to do their very best. I want to motivate students to do their very best and reach for goals that may not always seem attainable. I learn as much from students as they learn from me. I believe that students learn best when they are working hands-on and are engaged in the learning process.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

My classroom students and the high school athletes I coach inspire me. Both groups teach me new things daily and inspire me to be a better teacher and coach. Teaching and coaching have changed my life and given me a new perspective on life. I am so great
