About Me

In 1997 I graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a degree in Elementary Education. Go Blue! In 2005 I earned my Master’s degree from Marygrove College. I’m a Lady Dragon and I have breathed FIRE for 15 years, teaching 4th and 5th grades at both Summit Academy North and Summit Academy Flat Rock. I’m a total bookworm and I strive to inspire a love of reading in my students by exposing them to new authors and genres. I nurture their natural curiosity by sharing my obsession with all things scientific and mathematical. Science rocks and math rules!!
